When we talk about colour we like to start off with talking about the pyschology of colour. Colour has a subtle subconscious affect on our mood. Peach is a beautiful theme colour for summer weddings because it's makes us feel sunny and warm. It has a feminine quality that is really soft which in turn produces a calming and relaxing envrionment for your guests.
Below are some ideas of how to include this alluring colour in to your wedding day.
A gorgeous way to add a subtle hint of colour is in the bride's jewellery. We love this gem stone ring by Sea Blue Studio or these simple drop earrings from Dainty Doe Jewelry. For flowers, If you would like to steer clear of the classic peach roses - here are some bouquet ideas. We love this full bouquet with light peach ribbon by Jillian McGrath.
Add colour in the subtle details that your guests will have direct contact with. Things like adding a peach ribbon, peach napkins or how about a peach wedding cocktail? Who doesn't love a cocktail? We love this Rosé Slushy Cocktail by Abby Capalbo with lavender sprig decoration - a great cooler for a hot day! It has a delicious mix of Rosé, eldeflower, lemonade and ice. The full recipe can be found here.
Selections for bridesmaids dresses has really improved over the years, especially if you're looking to purchase from the high street. Try Asos or Jarlo for affordable but chic peach bridesmaid dresses. If you're going for a boho look - add different textures, shapes and shades in the dresses. It's really nice when dresses for Bridesmaids can be different to suit different shapes and skin tones. And don't worry, they can still be distinguished from other wedding guests with their bouquets and possibly hair styles and hair flowers.
Ballons make us feel excited and happy. It's the way they float and move that get us uplifted. If you'd like to go for helium balloons for that extra uplifting get you can get small disposable helium pumps to pump the balloons up yourself (a great task to give to an Usher!). Material, material, material really does make everything look more expensive and luxurious. We love these chairs of white and peach fabrics intertwined. Or how about some peach netting for the backdrop to a photobooth, head table or ceremony area.
