Bridesmaid dresse are an instant way to make your colour theme statement. We're chosen these delightful dresses that are for sale on the high street 2016. From left to right, we love this Artemis maxi from Free People - it floats with chiffon material and details embroidered sequin embelishments and zips up at the side of the waist to hug the figure. Or how about this simple Everland maxi from Fame and Partners (avaialbe on Asos), chiffon as well for that floaty feel and sexy plunging neckline. We also love this Lori Arlie maxi gown from Coast featuring a ruched bodice and waist tie to elongate any figure beuatifully - any bridesmaid is sure to be happy with this one. In general grey suits everyone but if choosing different shades of grey, note light grey is best for olive skin tones as light grey can wash fair skin out. In general though, olive skin tones can actually wear any grey type.
What is it about candles that make us feel so good? It's the soothing soft light and the flickering that sparks feelings of imagination and fantasy. The presence of candles transforms an environment to a sense of magical mysteriousness, there's something about replacing the artificial light that makes us more at one with nature. Above all the atmosphere they evoke, create memories. Candles can be just as soothing during the daylight, so don't forget to give one of the Ushers or your wedding venue the job of lighting the candles before your guests enter the area and these will slowly come alive when night falls. We've selected a few rustic cased candles for you to feast your eyes on. From left to right, we love these antique smoke glass hurricane candles from Nordic House. Pick different sizes for a scattered relaxed look. Or how about these pattern cut grey tin candle holders to disperse the light - these could create some interesting shapes on the venue walls. For the ultimate luxury use some extra large lanterns which can be used either inside or outside. Get the largest pillar candles you can to go inside for that extra grandeur.
We've tried to select some of the best natural looking boho flowers as a way to bring in grey to your floral arrangements. Top right we have some dusty miller which has a beautiful soft nature and will compliment any accent colour. Or we absolutely love succulents at the moment - these flowers last and only have to be watered once a week so can be prepared more in advance than other flowers. In the centre, we love this silver kochia, beautiful in bunches and would look gorgeously rustic in a bouquet. Steel grey flowers have that icy winter quality for winter weddings, for this look try some grey pussy willow.
We love it when a theme colour can come out in the tiniest of details. Try the bride and bridesmiads in chic matt grey nail polish or a ask your make up artist to add a flick of silver grey to your eyelids - it will suit everyone!
Much like the bridesmaids outfits, your wedding colour theme can be instantly recognisable with a simple thing such as table linen. We love these bold ideas in the napkins and table cloths. Grey is so versatile that it accents well with neutral colours of green and white. Your tables will look in tact and elegant even at the end of the meal as the wine spillages will be hidden with grey!
A subtle ring of grey icing can be added to your white wedding cake in this gorgeous example (look at that floral sugar work!). In the centre we have a design from Cordy's Cakes - a beautiful textured grey with white drip affect - sure to get your guest's mouth watering. Sweet & Saucy Shop make this dark grey wedding cake look exceptional. Don't forget your wedding flowers can be added to any simple cake for instant decoration.
